On the north shore of Maui lies a culture so deeply rooted in the Earth you can feel it in every step. Considered by some to be the Heart Chakra of the Earth, though others say its energy runs closer to the Sacral, Maui carries a creative, passionate pulse that's hard to put into words. I was lucky enough to be on the island the morning iconic surf break ‘Jaws’ broke for the first time of the winter swell for that season on my very last morning there. A moment I'll never forget, and one this film was born from.
